Last year we got word that there would be a new Mazzy Star album, and with no word on it for quite some time I was starting to get worried. This will be their first album in 17 years. While Hope Sandoval has done some solo material and worked with plenty of projects, none have quite been what Mazzy Star (Hope Sandoval and David Roback) was to their fans. Today we got another glimpse of the new album in the form of a new track (the last glimpse having been "Common Burn" and "Lay Myself Down" which were released last October together as an EP). "California" is the name of the new track, and we have word of the album title now, which is Seasons of Your Day. Here's a great article/interview with Hope and Roback on the new album.
