My friend sent me the link for this track last night and I'm really digging it. 'Razor Sharp,' from Pegboard Nerds & Tristam, came out yesterday, following a short clip of it just a couple days ago. Pegboard Nerds (facebook, soundcloud) are a pretty new duo, one member, Michael Parsberg, hailing from Denmark, the other, Alexander Odden, from Norway. They have only one EP under their belt, which came out earlier this year. Tristam (facebook) is relatively new as well, but with three EPs dating back to 2011, and an LP, The Tristam Hipster Package, which came out last year. Both of these artists are on the Monstercat label (soundcloud, youtube), and I'll def have to check out each bands other music to see what each one is like on their own. I like being able to differentiate what parts of collaborations come from which act. At any rate, check out 'Razor Sharp' below, and check out the bands' facebook pages if you dig em, and the Monstercat youtube channel has tons of other good stuff on it too, like this awesome little mashup: 'Throttle.'
