Another Day
Télépopmusik are making a come back! This track, "Try Me Anyway" is nothing like the beautiful ambient/trip hop/down-tempo masterpiece "Breathe" that blew up for them years ago in 2001. This track comes from their EP released last month, entitled Try Me Anyway / Fever.

Bon Iver's Justin Vernon teams up with Collections of Colonies of Bees to form new band: Volcano Choir. "Bygone" the first single from Volcano Choir was released back in June, and today this great video reminiscent of Battles' "Tonto", was released for the single. Volcano Choir's first album entitled Repave will be released September 3rd.

Rounds
It's hard to keep track of Fiona Apple, which is nothing new, really. She hardly posts to her facebook (or has her publicist post there, if she has one?), and this video released today through the pitchfork youtube channel isn't on her facebook or website. Anyway, it's a great video, and you can see the parts of the songs overlapping on each other as the song progresses. Great stuff! "Hot Knife" is from her previously released album, Idler Wheel.

5 Years Grown
A new CocoRosie video was released yesterday! The song, "Child Bride" is from Tales of a GrassWidow which came out this past May. The video has some excellent cinematography, was cast well, and features great acting. It's nice to have a break from "weird" videos from CocoRosie!

Catching Bullets in Our Teeth
Found this video while drudging through the youtubes. Hadn't ever heard this band but I really dug them. Kind of a blend of Indie/Folktronica. This song, "Bullets" is from their 2007 album, Good Arrows.
And here's a newer video for the song "The Village", released June 12th of this year, taken from their new album Turbines which was released just a few days after that on the 18th. If you dig these tracks, they've got 5 full length albums and an ep for you to check out. Happy hunting!

Sexyfrapp
Goldfrapp is set to release her 6th studio album later this year and just released the first single from it late last night. I caught "Drew" shortly before I went to bed and it was excellent sleepy-time music. Nothing short of beautiful, this dreamy, downtempo track with soft vocals is reminiscent of her first album, Felt Mountain, which came out back in 2000. I'm really curious to see how the rest of the album turns out, if there will be some dance-driven tracks ala "Strict Machine" and "Twist" from her 2003 album, Black Cherry or "Rocket" from 2010's Head First. I'd like a few dance tracks, but if everything is as beautiful as this track is, I'll love it just the same. Look for Tales of Us due out September 10th! (Video is *NSFW*)

Flaming Dr. Pepper!

The Flaming Dr. Pepper is one of my favorite specialty drinks, and I think it's silly they call them the official drink of The Crystal Method. Ended up picking up both their albums. This track, "Moon" is from Mickey Mouse Operation, their 2006 album. They also just released We Are But Hunks of Wood last year.

She Beats for Centuries
"She Beats" was released back in May, but while I was looking out for the new album, I wasn't looking for new videos and I guess it slipped by me. This new(ish) track from Emika has some super Shadowgate-esque synths and I can't get enough of it.
This video, released just last month is Emika's newest single, for the track "Centuries". Again, it features some Shadowgate-esque 8-bit sounding synths and it just feels super nostalgic to me despite being new.

Robot Love & Lust
The new Timo Maas album came out the other day I think it's pretty amazing. I went to check to see if there were any videos for the album already, and saw this one, which was posted back in Nov. of 2011! I guess the song was released on an ep that had slipped by me somehow. So, better late than never, right? The track, 'College 84' features Brian Molko on vocals who you may know as the singer/front of the band Placebo.
