Before we put satin in coffins.

Pitchfork releases a 45 minute documentary on Modest Mouse's breakthrough album, The Lonesome Crowded West. The album was Modest Mouse's second album, and came out in 1997. Pitchfork ranked the album at #29 in their list of the 100 best albums of the 1990's. Admittedly I didn't get into Modest Mouse until 2002, when I first heard their year 2000 release The Moon & Antarctica. I still found the documentary very interesting, and learned a lot about the band I'd more than likely never have known. This documentary was originally released in June of last year, but was recently uploaded (on May 5th) to the pitchforktv channel on youtube. At 45 minutes in length, you might have to set this aside, or come back later if you're interested in checking it out.
