Bubbleship

Here's a little 10 minute clip on the process of making the music and sounds for the new movie Oblivion in theaters now. The video features director Joseph Kosinski, music composer Joseph Trapanese, M83′s Anthony Gonzalez, and re-recording mixers Gary Rizzo and Juan Peralta. Over the course of the video they talk about the importance of sound and music in film, and give us some information on how they achieved some of the interesting features they produced! The soundtrack is amazing, and was released by Back Lot Music on April 9th. It definitely has an M83 feel to it, but isn't quite the same. I'm not saying it's bad by any means though, it's an amazing album! You can stream it here. I've heard great things about the movie as well, which is in theaters now. I haven't seen it yet, but I plan on it!
