The search is over today for people who have been tirelessly figuring out the puzzle that has surrounded the mysterious "Record Store Day Incident" involving Boards of Canada. Someone cracked the code today, and entered it at http://cosecha-transmisiones.com/ which http://www.boardsofcanada.com/ is forwarding to right now and found this video (unfortunately not really a song from them per say), followed by a link to Bleep, where Tomorrow's Harvest can be pre-ordered on vinyl or cd. Each release comes with a download code to obtain mp3's of the album as well. The new album is due out June 10th. I'm pretty stoked on this; it will be my first BoC vinyl I will own!
Also today, the wait isn't quite over for people who've been excited about the new Empire of the Sun album, Ice on the Dune, which is still due out in June, but EotS released a video today, for the track 'Alive.' As per the usual Empire of the Sun style video, it's super-epic // sci-fi // futuristic awesomeness. Definitely a nice fun video to tide us over until the album drops in a little over a month and a half! Check out 'Alive' below, and look out for the album June 14th.
