Late last night Crystal Fighters released their new video for the song 'You & I' off their forthcoming sophomore album Cave Rave, which is due May 27th. The UK group has a pretty distinctive sound. One member of the band said "we consider ourselves to be a mixture of folk, electro, punk, techno, dubstep and Spanish pop. We are kind of like the sound that would be created if The Velvet Underground and The Gipsy Kings were to travel back in time to the Pyrenees, 1980, and make a record with Skream, Madlib and Luciano on production." That's quite the amalgamation of sounds! Crystal Fighters have a number of other videos too, which you can find on their youtube channel. This video is kinda cheesy, but I think the band is still young and probably doesn't have a lot of money to be spending on videos yet. At least check it out for the surprise ending! Here's 'You & I."
